Question: Does anyone know of a company online that specialises in making clothes for small-time clothing labels?
Ok i know this must be a bit of a weird question but here it goes! Whilst surfing the net two nights ago i came across a website that deals with designing your clothes for you, helping you market them etc, with the idea that they will help you start up your own clothing label. However i didn’t add them to “My Favorites” and now for the life of me i can’t find them again! I was doing Google searches, i think strictly for the U.K. although i’m not sure. I was typing things in like “how to make you own clothes” etc etc.

If anyone can help me find the website, or a website similar to this who are U.K. (England) based, it would be much appreciated and i’ll give you loads of points!

The loads of points is only five times this answer. However a better suggestion for you is to make loads of money. You do this by selling more or costing less. You can still sell more if it cost less. The single most important cost in clothes manufacturing is the labour to have it produced. I think the UK is not the most cost effective nation to produce clothes so think in terms of outsourcing. All the UK clothes distributors and retailers get theirs from other countries (unless you want to exploit those poor migrants working out of sweatshops in the UK) I think you are too sweet for that type of stuff. You are better of dreaming sweet dreams!

Do any chain stores sell “surf clothes” (Honolua, Rip Curl, Volcom)?

Question: Do any chain stores sell “surf clothes” (Honolua, Rip Curl, Volcom)?
I recently visited a small surf shop (Long Island, NY) and loved the clothes they had there. The laid-back beach style, really liked it. I’ve never seen that stuff around the city before. I especially liked the stuff from a brand called “Honolua”. The only problem was that everything there was pretty expensive. I’m wondering if any big chain stores sell clothes like that, or if anyone knows some other way to get good prices on that stuff. I’m heading to Florida soon for a summer trip and want to prepare. Thanks for any info.
To Jack: In times like these, if any store wants my business, they’re gonna have to mark their stuff down below the MSRP, cause I’m not paying 90 bucks for a pair of jeans. And if a chain store has a less ridiculous markup, that’s where I’m going.
